How to add MediaValet assets to Contentful

MediaValet’s Contentful integration provides users with the ability to push assets directly from their MediaValet library to their Contentful interface all with the click of a button. Say "goodbye" to the days of downloading and re-uploading assets and "hello" to an integrated workflow for yourself and your team.

 

1. Navigate to the assets in your DAM that you would like to add to Contentful
   
   
2. Select the assets you would like to add or select all by clicking Select Page
   
3. Once you have the assets selected, click Actions in the top right corner
   
4. Click Add Attributes and a new window will open
   
   
   
5. Find the Contentful Integration Attribute, click the arrow to open the menu. You will have four options:

• Sync to Contentful: If you choose this option, once you click apply, it will send the asset to Contentful and then automatically change to Confirmed: Synced to let us know that the asset was sent successfully
• Confirmed: Synced: Will automatically update when the asset is sent successfully
• Remove from Contentful: If you choose this option, once you click apply, it will remove the asset from Contentful and then automatically change to Confirmed: Removed to let us know that the asset was removed successfully
• Confirmed: Removed: Will automatically update when the asset is removed successfully

      6. After you select from the menu, click Apply.

 

You are also able to add your assets to Contentful from the asset details screen.

 

1. Navigate to the asset you would like to add to Contentful and click on asset details 

2. In the asset details screen, in the attributes, click edit 

 

3. Scroll down to Contentful Integration and select from the four options:

• Sync to Contentful: If you choose this option, once you click apply, it will send the asset to Contentful and then automatically change to Confirmed: Synced to let us know that the asset was sent successfully
• Confirmed: Synced: Will automatically update when the asset is sent successfully
• Remove from Contentful: If you choose this option, once you click apply, it will remove the asset from Contentful and then automatically change to Confirmed: Removed to let us know that the asset was removed successfully
• Confirmed: Removed: Will automatically update when the asset is removed successfully

4. Once you choose an option, click Save 

 

The selected assets are now syncing with your Contentful platform.
