Creating a Proof

To get started and initiate a proof, click on your desired asset, and select the “Proofing” sub-menu. Once there, click on the “Create button”.

In the Proofing sub-menu, indicate your desired Final Approver, as well as any reviewer(s).

A Final Approver is responsible for providing the final approval once an asset has been reviewed and updated.

Reviewers play a pivotal role in the Proofing process by providing feedback on an asset. Reviewers can provide feedback by utilizing the markup tool indicated by the red pencil icon. To learn more, please click here: Adding a comment.

Next, select your desired due date for the Proof. This will give your team an indication of when the finalized asset is needed by.

Once done, simply select “Create” to generate the Proof link. Reviewers will receive an email directly from PageProof after the Proof has been created.

Once a Proof is initiated, the asset will be locked in your MediaValet library and unlocked once the asset has been approved.
