MediaValet Proofing is powered by Pageproof and provides powerful collaborative capabilities that will allow your team to streamline communication and maximize efficiency. This article will unveil a few ways that you can take full advantage of MediaValet Proofing’s collaborative capabilities.
Collaborative Options When Creating a Proof
When initiating a Proof in MediaValet, you will be prompted to select one Final Approver, and one or more Reviewers.
A Final Approver is responsible for providing the final approval once an asset has been reviewed and updated. The Final Approver added in MediaValet will also be added as thea Proof Owner in Page Proof. A Proof Owner has additional responsibilities, such as assigning a to-do list, or updating an asset version.
For a full list of responsibilities associated with the Proof Owner role, please click here: Explaining the role of an owner.
Reviewers play a pivotal role in the Proofing process by providing feedback on an asset. For a better understanding of permissions of a reviewer, please click here: Explaining the role of a reviewer.
Assigning a To-Do List to an Editor
Once a Reviewer has provided feedback on the Proof, the Proof Owner can create a To-Do list with actionable items. The Proof Owner can assign the To-Do list to a trusted Editor who is responsible for completing the To-Do list. For more information on the Editor role, please click here: Assigning a to-do list to an editor.
Adding additional Users to a Proof
Depending on the task, you may desire to add more users to a Proof. This can be done in the PageProof platform.
