This article demonstrates issues one may experience while utilizing the MediaValet Direct, and how to overcome them.
When I try to run the app, I get this message:
Please select More Info and Run anyway.
My screen is blank or I get an error message when trying to login.
In case this occurs to you, please attempt one of the following:
- Make sure that your internet connection is stable
- Try to login through your library on your browser to see if you are having the same issue.
- If you’re able to, click on Application> Reset configuration
- You can also simply quit the app and reopen it
- Lastly, you can try uninstalling the application and reinstalling it

My Upload seems to be stuck or seemed to have failed
This can sometimes be simply a visual error. Despite seeing this error, it is possible that all files were successfully uploaded. We recommend logging into your MediaValet DAM through your browser to check if all the files were uploaded.
If the issue persists, use the "Reindex" option to make sure that your library is properly synced with MediaValet direct. If you only have a few assets to reupload, simply drag and drop them into the same folder.
I get this message regarding Filename versioning and I’m not able to continue further
