How do I change a person's profile thumbnail in Face Recognition?
Every person identified by Face Recognition is given a profile thumbnail automatically. You can change it to a different image where Face Recognition detected the same person.
Anyone who can edit face names can change a profile thumbnail. No additional permission is required.
To change a person's profile thumbnail
- Select the People menu from the left sidebar.
- On the Identified tab, select the person you want to update.
- Select an image where that person appears.
- In the asset panel, select the People tab.
- Under Identified, select the 3 vertical dots beside the person's name.
- Select Set as Profile's Thumbnail.
- Preview and Select Update to confirm.
The new profile thumbnail is then shown for that person.
Please note that you can only choose from images where Face Recognition detected that person. You cannot upload a picture, and you cannot select another asset from your library.
