What steps are involved in enabling Single-Sign-On (SSO) for my library?

Follow the steps below to get Single-Sign-On (SSO) enabled for your library.

1. Confirm your Identity Provider supports integrating with third party applications using OIDC and/or SAML protocols.

2. To get started with Single-Sign-On, reach out to your Onboarding and/or Customer Success Manager at MediaValet, make sure to provide the name of your SSO Provider (IDP) and Protocol to get the process starting.

We also recommend consulting with your IT team about SSO group configuration. Key questions to align on include: Do you want to map your SSO groups directly to MediaValet permission groups to automate user assignment? Or would you prefer users to be placed in a default group, with administrators manually updating permissions as needed?

3. Our Support team will work with you directly to complete the setup of the Single-Sign-On integration.

4. Once the setup is completed, you will have the opportunity to test the Single-Sign-On integration from a staging URL, before the integration is enabled for your library.
