The MediaValet integration for monday.com allows you to insert category paths to your monday.com items.
This connects assets on your board items directly to category paths in your MediaValet library to ensures files uploaded through automations or item views are always stored in the right place.
With the integration, you can:
- Select one or more existing categories from your MediaValet library.
- Create and connect a new category directly from within monday.com.
- Open the MediaValet app in the Item View tab.
Select the category tree icon and then click Insert Category.
- You can choose to insert as a Category Link or Category Path. Depending on your selection, and select the column you would like to link and click insert.
*If you would like to have the automation upload to multiple category paths, set up a long-text field column on your board. After doing so, you will be able to automate and upload up to 5 categories. You must select and insert the 5 categories one at a time.
Confirm the connection
Once you’ve applied your categories:
- Any assets linked to this item (manually or through automation) will upload directly into the selected category paths in MediaValet.
- You can return to the MediaValet Item View at any time to change or update the connected categories.
