With the MediaValet integration, you can rename files directly from the monday.com Item View. The exact workflow depends on the asset’s status (Not Connected, Connected, or Update Available).
For more information on the different status types, visit here.
Rename a File with Not Connected Status
In the Item View, find the asset you want to rename and click the pencil icon next to it.
In the Edit File Name window, type the new file name and click Apply.
A warning icon will appear next to the new file name, indicating the change has not yet been applied in MediaValet.
Filename changes are only effective once the file has been uploaded to MediaValet. The filename will not change within this Item until then.
Under the Actions column, click Upload to send the renamed file to MediaValet.
Once the upload is complete, the status will update to Connected, and the new name will be reflected in MediaValet.
Rename a File with Connected Status
Locate the file (status shows as Connected) and click the pencil icon.
Type the new file name in the Edit File Name window and click Apply.
The status will change to Update Available.
A warning icon will appear next to the pencil icon. This is because changes made to the filename will only be reflected within MediaValet. The asset must still be manually updated by clicking Update under the Actions column.
Rename a File with Update Available Status
Find the asset (status shows as Update Available) and click the pencil icon.
In the Edit File Name window, type the new file name and click Apply.
A warning icon will appear next to the pencil icon. This is because changes made to the filename will only be reflected within MediaValet. The asset must still be manually updated by clicking Update under the Actions column.
