To do a bulk metadata edit inside of MediaValet, first select the files you want to edit and then use the pop up panel at the bottom of your screen to select the metadata field you want to edit.
Click the folder icon to edit the categories the assets belong to. Review the legend at the top which explains the different features of the edit category workflow.
For example you can add a category tag to all the select assets by click an empty box to create a checkmark through it. On the flip side you can remove a category tag from the assets by clicking the checkbox or dash besid ethe category until it is empty.
Next click the Pencil icon to bulk edit the Keywords or Attributes
If you have any required attributes, this must be filled out at this time. To clear an attribute of it's values, select the attribute and leave the value blank. This will clear any present values from it. If your organization has any Attribute Groups created, you can access them using the drop down menu at the top right.
