Export/Import General Attributes in Bulk

Bulk metadata export and import now support general attributes, letting admins update Title, Description, Alt Text, and Expiry Date across thousands of assets in a single import.

For example, if 200 images are missing alt text, export those assets to a CSV, add the alt text values, and re-import to update them all at once.

Accurate metadata makes assets easier to find, and complete Alt Text improves accessibility and search visibility for assets published on portals or the web.

Self-Serve Whitelisting for the Asset Picker

Admins can now manage which sites are approved to load the Asset Picker directly in Settings, with no support ticket or deployment required each time a site changes. This works for built-in integrations like WordPress and Drupal, and for custom integrations using a simple embed snippet.

Only admins with access to Integration Licenses can manage whitelisted sites.

Integrations: MediaValet for Asana

MediaValet now connects directly to Asana, so creative and marketing teams can work with their asset library without leaving their project workspace. The integration is built on Unify, MediaValet's integration framework.

Connect a MediaValet library to an Asana workspace in a few clicks via the Asana Marketplace, no scripts or IT setup required
Browse, search, and attach MediaValet assets directly within Asana tasks, subtasks, comments, and project overviews
Push task attachments to MediaValet automatically, triggered by status changes, assignee changes, due dates, or custom field updates
Asana custom field values map automatically to the matching MediaValet attributes on every push
Assets pushed to MediaValet are auto-tagged with their originating project, task, assignee, and due date

Please note:

Each Asana workspace can only connect to one MediaValet account at a time, and each MediaValet account can only connect to one Asana workspace.
The connection uses a refresh token that expires every 30 days. If automations stop working, reconnect the integration in Asana.
Assets must be routed to a subcategory. Uploading directly to the root Library category isn't supported.

External Uploads Security

Virus Scanning

Every file sent through an external upload link is now automatically scanned for viruses and malware before it reaches the review queue. Infected files are removed and the uploader is notified, so admins only ever see clean, ready-to-review batches.

Larger Upload Batches

External upload links now accept up to 5,000 assets in a single batch, up from 1,000.
