This article will discuss the various ways users can share assets in MediaValet.

 

Users are able to share assets in the following ways:

  1. As CDN Link: Allows the user to create a CDN link for the asset. To learn more about creating a CDN link, click here
  2. As Asset Link: Provides the direct URL for the asset. This can be used by other MediaValet users Only available when sharing one asset. To share multiple assets internally, please share the assets as a Collection
  3. As Collection: Creates a Collection that can easily be shared with other MediaValet users. Learn more about our Collections experience here.
  4. As Web Gallery: Creates a Web Gallery link containing the desired assets. Ideal for sharing assets with external users. Web Galleries are not editable.
  5. As Zip File: Creates a Zip file with the desired assets that can be downloaded
  6. As a Branded Portal : you can share and edit a public facing Branded Portal

com009.svgNote: The CDN feature must be enabled for your library. Please reach out to your MediaValet representative if you do not see the "Grab a Direct Link" option present in your library. 

Sharing Assets From the Library View

From the library view, select the desired asset by selecting the checkbox available when hovering your mouse over an asset

Once you are satisfied with your selection, simply click on the Share button in the action bar located at the bottom of the screen

Sharing Assets From the Asset View

From the library view click on the desired asset. This will open a preview of the asset

Once there, click on the share icon located to the left of the download icon

 

Sharing Assets from the Detailed View

From the asset view click "Open Asset Details in Full Screen" (Information Icon). This will open the asset's detailed view

Once there, click on the share button
